Taking Title
It's the function of the title company to ensure that your new home is legally yours following closing.
The title company will research your property's prior ownership history and, once the search is complete, enable
you to purchase a Title Insurance policy. This protects you, should someone make a claim to own all or a portion
of your property.
Title insurance protects against many types of risks, including:
Forged deeds or other documents
Claims by previously undisclosed heirs
Inaccurate descriptions of property and boundaries
Mistakes in public records
Fraudulent acts
Home Warranty
Real Living's Home Warranty Services program protects the consumer for one full year (from the closing date)
against unexpected breakdowns, expensive repairs and associated costs.
Per the terms of the contract, Real Living Home Warranty Services will repair or replace whatever is necessary
to make certain the “working parts” of a home will function as they were designed to function for one year.
With Real Living Home Warranty Services, you can have the peace of mind after the close to ensure a smooth transition into your home.
Please note Real Living Home Warranty Services does not cover all issues that may occur with your home i.e., roof and water issues such as a basement leak are not covered.
